Potential
The Potential is the seed of all possibilities for the visionary. Comprised of Stage 1 – The Gift and Stage 2 – The Burden, here the unexpressed potential lies deep within the individual and once accessed can retrieve a blueprint of the original vision which can then begin to take form in the later stages.
While in The Gift, unlimited possibilities may lie dormant or begin tapping at the surface to be expressed. When not expressed (and instead repressed) these possibilities transform into The Burden – causing discomfort, frustration and a longing to move forward from this stage. If The Gift is expressed the effects of The Burden are greatly reduced or almost avoided.

- Needs validation of resonance and intuition
- Wants to be understood
- Considers own ideas more progressive than most people’s
External Reality

- Feels misunderstood by society as a whole
- Has an endless supply of unanswered questions
- Sees possibilities that society doesn’t believe can succeed
- Feels pressure to conform to traditional ideas and approaches to life and career
- May live in the head much more than the heart
Challenges
- Unclear where unique ideas/solutions/insights are coming from
- Gifts are unrecognized or influenced by other agendas
- Feels and is misunderstood
- Confused about role in society
Opportunities
- Receive recognition early and get guidance
- Gain early support from family, peers, mentors or groups
- Choose an entrepreneurial pathway to start realizing the vision
- Gather support from older visionaries that see the potential
Business/Career
Challenges
- Follows status quo or a path similar to peers OR
- Wanders from one thing to the other not deeply resonating with anything
- Doesn’t believe own insights or inspired solutions are valid
- Can’t see real examples of taking a different path to follow purpose”
Opportunities
- Move forward with exploring ideas/insights/solutions
- Find other visionaries walking the path for inspiration
- Embed gifts into whatever work is undertaken and continue to build them
- Become fully expressed in every role
Stage 2
The Burden
The burden takes hold when your visionary awareness has sprouted and your gifts have begun to awaken and you’ve taken no steps to implement them in your life. During this stage deep feelings of misalignment, unfulfillment and frustration are present. Following the status quo instead of exploring and bringing new solutions into form can take a heavy toll and burden on your energy, psyche and life experiences.

- Sees innovation & potential in many things
- Internal conflict between being authentic and conforming to society
- Doesn’t feel safe standing out and being different
- Slightly rebellious towards society or status quo
- No sense of clear pathway forward to move into alignment and purpose
- Feels the light or sense of excitement of The Gift diminishing
Conflicts
- Hides gifts, insights and true self
- Feels torn down
- Resorts to living mediocre life
External Reality

- Doesn’t resonate with path peers are taking
- Presents unique perspective and ideas to outside world and feels discouraged and misunderstood
- May embark on traditional career to gain acceptance
- May explore many different careers due to confusion
- Seeks power, answers and knowledge from sources outside of self
- Embeds deeper into existing society structures
- Follows an inner sense of direction that doesn’t align with other people’s

- Loses connection to intuition and self
- Gifts and insights become repressed or hidden
- Ego takes over as predominant driving force
- Lacks friends that fully understand

- Prioritize vision without needing outside approval or support
- Meet and build mutual support with others who are also unconventional
Business/Career
Challenges
- Doubts whether own purpose and calling are possible
- Deep unfulfillment and resentment builds up towards current work/career; feels stuck
- Hides natural gifts; finds no place or encouragement for them in that career
- Operates in a limited capacity
Opportunities
- Remove resentment by making a choice
- Join a supportive group or community of visionary entrepreneurs or businesses
- Find ways to can bring gifts into current career
- Reveal parts of calling/vision
