Choosing presence time and time again

Choosing presence time and time again
In this week’s Moment of Inspiration I’ll share some past reflections on trust, surrender and choosing to live in the present moment. To go directly to this message scroll down to the next section, otherwise I’d like to share a story first.
Yesterday, I experienced a long day of moving my things out of storage and driving a truck by myself on the freeway for many hours.
Leading up to this day there was some stress present about each piece working out and some nervousness of driving a truck alone at such a distance.
However, I knew it had to be done, so when all the people were lined up to help load the truck at each end, I raised the day to the highest divine energy. I called in my invisible helpers and surrendered into trust.
The morning of the move, two things fell out of place which required quick thinking and problem solving. As I had already made peace and surrendered it to the light, I did not flinch. My energy remained calm and consistent, so I made the alternate plans needed and went to pick up the truck.
During the day, although my mind wanted to panic about the next piece that needed to take place working out, I purposefully pulled my attention to the present moment. Time and time again.
In fact, I actually set the intention to have fun while driving the truck and loading and unloading. Why not make a potentially scary or exhausting experience something I could enjoy.
By the time I dropped the truck back I was thankful everything went well and was even a little sad to give up driving the big beast.
Message 1
Stop trying to rush your growth.
Pause, breathe and enjoy where you are and how far you’ve come on the journey.
Celebrate by being present.
Being all that you are.
Celebrate by tapping into your essence as often as you can.
Your heart will lead the way.
It will free you from stresses, worries and harsh judgments.
It will free you from sorrows, expectations and past regrets.
It will allow you to accept what is and be joyful to what is.
To see the miracle in everything.

Message 2
The great masters once said
Time is not linear, it’s circular
And can appear in multiple places at once
The past is often brought into the present
And future speculations pollute the present moment
Our mind can’t grasp what is past, present or future speculation
And it can move through all times and dimensions.
Our consciousness has control over this
And knows the present moment
Is the most purest moment to be lived
With great joy and appreciation
We can’t change the past
Or totally know the future
So staying present is the key
To creating your joy and happiness
Because it already exists deep inside you.

Reflections:
Can you think of a day, project or event you experienced that involved a lot of moving parts or pieces for it to work out successfully?
Do you remember how you felt leading up to the day or start? Was there stress, fear, anxiety or nervousness from not having full trust? Or did you surrender to the moment and allow what is to naturally take form?
How was your energy during the big day, project or event? Were you present in each moment or was your mind jumping ahead worrying about or wanting to control the future?
How can you add in more presence to an experience like that?
